Cognitive Behaviour Therapy [CBT] looks at causes [triggers] and
effects, and then looks for evidence. In other words, if you feel or think
things, take out the emotions, and look for the hard evidence.
This talking therapy is globally recognised and vastly cheaper than
psychology. However, whilst it is considered to be "the" talking therapy
to be promoted, many clients struggle to change their negative thinking
when they are experiencing hugely powerful negative emotions.
